Geometric Jet Sculpture is made with metal and metal spheres. painted in secondary colors.

Geometry Jet

The unique geometric forms within the Libraries architecture played a roll in my design for this sculpture. The geometric shapes are included as having a prominent jutting pyramid, an invisible sphere, and domes. The pyramid represents the visitors achievements and goals, the imagined sphere as a den for security and nurturing of dreams, and the many domes as the adventure one experiences in obtaining their desires.

Metro Mountain sculpture of metal and metal spheres and a niche painted in secondary colors.

Metro Mountain

My inspiration for Metro Mountain comes from the Wells Fargo Center, a prominent feature of the Denver skyline; the rock clefts in the Colorado ravines; and the boulders along trails and rivers. The main form of the sculpture is the profile of the Wells Fargo building with ½ round spheres representing boulders, and the painted green niche represents the clefts in the ravines. Combining these shapes into one piece and giving it a unique color combination will make an attractive piece for all pedestrians to enjoy. Additionally, the cleft would invite pedestrians to interact with the sculpture and offer a unique photo opportunity.
